Full job description

We Kare Nursing & Homecare Services provides compassionate, professional home care services throughout the Okanagan. We support seniors, individuals recovering from illness or injury, and families requiring nursing and personal care services. Our mission is to deliver exceptional care while treating every client with dignity, respect, and compassion.

Position Summary

We are seeking a friendly, organized, and proactive Client Care Coordinator to join our team. This role combines customer service, office administration and scheduling support as you will often be the first point of contact for our clients and their families while helping promote our services and support day-to-day operations of the office. In addition, you will assist with marketing initiatives, social media content and community outreach activities.

Key Responsibilities

Client Care

  • Answer incoming phone calls in a professional and compassionate manner.
  • Respond promptly to inquiries from prospective and existing clients.
  • Schedule complimentary consultations and client appointments.
  • Follow up with prospective clients after consultations.
  • Maintain positive relationships with clients and families.
  • Assist with client intake and documentation.

Scheduling & Administration

  • Coordinate and maintain caregiver and client schedules.
  • Manage schedule changes, cancellations and shift coverage.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, families and care staff.
  • Maintain accurate client and employee records.
  • Prepare reports, update databases, and perform data entry.
  • Support management with day-to-day office operations.

Marketing

  • Create and schedule engaging Facebook, Instagram and Twitter posts and advertisements
  • Assist with maintaining the company’s social media presence.
  • Develop and design marketing materials, newsletters, and promotional campaigns.
  • Respond to social media inquiries.
  • Help organize community events, presentations, and networking opportunities.
  • Monitor social media engagement and track marketing activities and provide suggestions to improve community awareness.

Qualifications

Education

Diploma or certificate in Business Administration, Marketing, Office Administration, Communications, Health Care Administration, or a related field is preferred

Equivalent education and experience will be considered.

Experience

· Minimum 2 years experience in customer service, office administration, scheduling or office coordination.

· Professional, dependable and detail-oriented.

· Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook as well as Microsoft 365).

· Managing social media accounts and creating content.

· Familiarity with Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and any other social media for marketing.

· Experience in healthcare, home care or service-based industries an asset.
