Full job description

We are seeking friendly, compassionate, and dependable Casual Employees to join us at the The Evergreens Foundation. These positions will be based at our beautiful Kikinow Elders Lodge located in the MD of Greenview.

A little about the Role

  • Available to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, afternoons, overnight, weekends, and holidays, as required.
  • Perform a range of duties, including housekeeping, laundry, and dining room services, depending on operational needs.
  • Build positive relationships with residents by providing friendly, respectful, and compassionate service in a welcoming environment.
  • Contribute to maintaining a clean, safe, comfortable, and inviting home for our seniors and elders.
  • Enjoy a physically active role that involves extended periods of standing, walking, bending, lifting, and participating in a variety of daily activities.

A little about You

  • Looking to make a difference in our community.
  • Ability to prioritize competing demands.
  • Work well on your own as well as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and good communication skills.
  • Compassionate, friendly and empathetic.
  • Experience in seniors housing and/or the hospitality industry would be an asset.

Note: The successful candidate(s) must be legally authorized to work in Canada and will be required to provide a satisfactory Vulnerable Sector Check as a condition of employment, prior to their start date.
