If you thrive on building relationships, delivering top‑tier programming, and representing RINK at partner locations—this role is for you.

The Regional Development Coordinator is responsible for delivering high‑quality on‑ice skill development and overseeing RINK Development’s off‑site programming in partnership with minor hockey associations (MHAs) and external facilities. This role ensures curriculum consistency, program growth, and strong client relationships while upholding RINK standards across all satellite locations. The coordinator plays a vital role in executing programming outside the main facility, supporting program expansion, and ensuring a best‑in‑class athlete experience.

What You’ll Do

Key Responsibility 1: On-Ice Program Delivery & Execution

Satellite Program Operations

· Oversee and execute RINK Development programming at satellite locations, ensuring alignment with RINK Standards.

· Work directly with MHAs, arenas, and external partners to coordinate and implement skill development programs.

· Track and report on seasonal program performance, identifying successes and opportunities for improvement.

· Ensure coaching staff at satellite locations are trained and adhere to RINK curriculum and coaching methodology.

Curriculum Development & Implementation

· Lead the creation and execution of on‑ice and off‑ice development plans tailored to MHAs and off‑site programming requirements.

· Ensure practice plans and progressions align with RINK’s training philosophy and best practices.

Program Inquiries & Client Management

· Manage all inquiries, registrations, and client communication for satellite programs.

· Collaborate with MHAs to customize and implement development plans based on their specific needs.

On‑Ice Coaching & Development

· Deliver on‑ice skill development sessions at all program levels, ensuring high‑quality instruction and engagement.

· Lead and assist in on‑ice sessions for both in‑centre and multiple satellite locations.

· Availability required for day, evening, and weekend programming.

Key Responsibility 2: Client & Partner Relationship Management

· Build and maintain strong relationships with MHAs to support long‑term program growth and engagement.

· Develop and implement client retention strategies.

· Collaborate with external facilities to ensure seamless program delivery and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibility 3: Learning & Growth — Professional Development

· Ensure completion of required certifications per the professional development compliance checklist.

· Work with the Manager of On‑Ice Development & Programming (Satellite) to fulfill training and development plans.

· Maintain compliance with RINK’s internal coach development program.

Key Responsibility 4: Financial Management & Cost Control

· Maintain budget compliance for all satellite programming, ensuring cost targets are met.

· Track and manage program‑related expenses, including staffing, ice rentals, and innovation‑related costs.

Why You’ll Love Being Part of the RINK Team

· A collaborative, multi‑disciplinary environment driven by passion and expertise.

· Ongoing team-building events and professional development opportunities.

· Extended Health Benefits Plan.

· Employer-sponsored Group RRSP plan.

· The chance to make a meaningful impact on athlete development and shape the next generation of hockey talent.
