Airdrie Stars Hockey Academy Is Looking for Assistant Coaches to join our team for next Winter 2026-27 Season.

We are an independent Hockey Academy built by players for players, we are actively looking for candidates that want to grow our athletes to achieve their goals.

We work with Elite Athletes aged 12 to 17 years old. Each Coach must be a capable skills instructor and demonstrator.

REQUIREMENTS FOR COACHING:

Excellent leadership skills.
Ability to communicate effectively and efficiently.
Strong organizational, administrative and computer skills.
A proven record of integrity, high principles and demonstrated skill in developing and motivating athletes.
A pleasant personality combined with a positive attitude is essential.
Ability to foster a cooperative work environment, get along and work well with other members of the Academy.
Excellent time management skills
Coaching skills.

WORKING CONDITIONS:
Considerable evening and weekend work.
Some overnight travel (10-20 times per winter)

Coaching Certifications:

First Responder Level CPR First Aid
Must receive a negative Criminal Record Check and a drivers abstract.
Must be currently able to work in Canada or hold a Canadian employment visa.
