Overview
We are a busy , established custom metal fabrication looking for an experienced Fabricator / Welder to join our team .

The successful candidate will be comfortable working on a variety of projects from custom architectural and miscellaneous metal work to structural steel fabrication . This is a hands on position for someone who can read drawings,work indepently and take pride in producing high quality work .

Responsibilities

- Fabricate and weld various types of metal
- Read and interpret shop drawings and fabrication drawings and weld symbols .
- Perform welding tasks using gmaw , fcaw, gtaw and smaw welding techniques .
- Operate machinery and other equipment related to the fabrication process
- Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet specifications
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and accurately

- Follow safety procedures and quality standards.

Qualifications

- Several years of experience in metal fabrication and welding

- Strong welding and fitting skills

- Ability to accurately measure , layout and fit complex assemblies .

- Experience with structural steel is an asset .

- CWB certification is a asset.

-Ability to work with minimal supervision .

- Reliable , punctual and safety - minded .
