Full job description

We are looking for an experienced Tire and Lube Technician for our Service Department. tappCONNECT Inc. provides a friendly, comfortable work environment; and opportunities to gain experience. Please note only applicants selected for an interview will be contacted.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Tire installations
  • Replacement of batteries, light bulbs & wiper blades.
  • Complete lube, oil and filter changes.
  • Complete work orders and track service work and parts.
  • Provide information on work performed and general vehicle condition and potential maintenance/repair requirements.
  • Ensure a clean, safe and orderly shop area.
  • Wear and use proper safety clothing and equipment while performing all tasks

Required Skills:

  • Good mechanical aptitude.
  • A team player who is focused on providing exceptional service and a customer focused attitude
  • Ability to take direction and work well with others
  • Must be able to prioritize and multi task including being able to remain flexible in continually changing and fast paced situations.
  • Detail orientated, enjoy performing tasks that require a great deal of precision and patience.
  • Valid driver’s license

Physical Requirements:

  • Must have the mobility to easily access and egress vehicles and equipment.
  • Regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to manipulate, handle or feel; reach with hands or arms; required to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
  • Need to be able to lift a minimum of 35lb.
  • Must be able to work in a shop environment with moderate noise.
