Job Duties and Responsibilities

Promote teamwork and quality service through daily communication and coordination with co-workers and Department Heads.

Act and communicate with professionalism while dealing with guests and coworkers.

Demonstrates understanding of the procedures of the Hotel's Emergency Response Plan and procedures.

Follow the health and safety guidelines.

Responsible to communicate any safety issues in the hotel, such as: broken glasses, wet floor, any maintenance issue that can create an injury.

Supports hotel's standards and contributes to the delivery of consistent guest service.

Assist to our guest with information about services and amenities that our hotel offers.

Demonstrate commitment to understand, anticipate and fulfill the needs of our guests.

Proper handling and usage of chemical.

Assist in any special cleaning or/and projects.

Offer an excellent service to ensure our guests enjoy a hassle-free time during their stay with us.

Responsible for the proper key handling.

Bring all lost and found items to the housekeeping office for logging and storage.

Report immediately to the supervisor any out of the ordinary situation in the guests’ suites, including unreported pets, parties in the room, unusually dirty rooms or a vacant room when the suite is through to be occupied.

Proper usage of room keeping equipment.

Maintain and restock work Cart each day.

Strip rooms, make beds and change sheets.

Ensure proper cleanliness of assigned suites as per Homewood Suites standards. This include: clean and disinfect rooms, Making beds and change sheets, Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors, dust furniture, fixtures and appliances, Cleaning bathrooms, vacuuming carpet, area rugs, draperies, windows and walls and upholstered furniture, washing dishes and dusting furniture.

Stocking and displaying of guest amenities such as: soap, towels, toiletries, etc.

Clean guest floors, corridors and vents, public washroom, elevators, stairwells, and interior/exterior public areas, windows, fitness rooms/showers as set by efficiency standards of the hotel.

Maintain pool and fitness room supplies of towels.

Respond to Front Desk calls, assisting in checking rooms luggage delivery, and guest special request.

Maintain public areas clean and organize.

Attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items.

Pick up debris and empty trash containers.

Perform any other duties as assigned.
