We are currently looking for a Line Cook located at 646 Dixon Rd., Etobicoke, M9W 1J1

Responsibilities:

· Sets up and stocks food items and other necessary supplies.

· Prepares food items by cutting, chopping, mixing, and preparing sauces.

· Cooks food items by grilling, frying, sautéing, and other cooking methods to specified recipes and standards.

· Maintain cleanliness and complies with food sanitation requirements by properly handling food and ensuring correct storage.

· Cleans and sanitizes cooking surfaces at the end of the shift.

· Performs inventory checks and completes food storage logs.

· Previous experience in fast paced restaurants or food service.

· Experienced in working both Sauté and Grill stations, with the ability to maintain quality, efficiency, and consistency during busy service periods.

· Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately.

· Time management and multitasking abilities.

· Flexibility to work in various shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

· Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

· Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects as needed

· Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations

Qualifications:

· Basic written and verbal communication skills

· High school diploma or equivalent

· One to two years of experience as a line cook, restaurant cook, or prep cook

· Experience with various cooking methods and procedures

· Familiar with industry best practices

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $19.00-$22.00 per hour
