Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team, with experience in the Italian kitchen. We are looking for someone with practical experience making various pastas and working on the grill preparing various proteins and fish. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and cooking, along with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals, ensuring food safety standards are met, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
  • Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner to meet service demands.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and cooking stations.
  • Follow food safety guidelines and proper food handling procedures at all times.
  • Assist in meal preparation and presentation to ensure quality and consistency.
  • Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during service hours.
  • Help with inventory management, including tracking supplies and reporting shortages.
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations within the kitchen environment.

Skills

  • Proven experience in food service or as a cook in a restaurant setting, preferably with experience in an Italian kitchen.
  • Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and meal preparation processes.
  • Familiarity with food safety standards and best practices in the food industry.
