Position Summary

As a Line Cook, you will be an essential part of our kitchen team, responsible for preparing and cooking high quality dishes that delight our guests. You will work in a fast paced environment, collaborating with fellow team members to ensure timely and exceptional service. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food, attention to detail, and a desire to learn and grow within the culinary field.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and presentation standards, ensuring that every plate is a work of art that complements the stunning waterside backdrop
  • Assist the sous chef and Executive chef in executing unique and mouthwatering dishes that will not only tantalize taste buds but also offer a feast for the eyes amidst the inspiring views
  • Maintain a clean and organized workstation, following proper food handling and sanitation guidelines to ensure the highest quality and safety standards
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure smooth kitchen operations, contributing to a seamless dining experience for our guests
  • Stay updated with the latest culinary trends and techniques, bringing fresh ideas to the table that harmonize with the natural beauty surrounding our restaurant

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a line cook in a fast-paced kitchen environment, with a passion for culinary arts and a dedication to delivering exceptional dining experiences that resonate with the breathtaking waterside location
  • Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, flavor profiles, and ingredient combinations, allowing you to create dishes that harmonize with the natural beauty of our surroundings
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet strict deadlines, maintaining the highest standards even during busy periods
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, fostering a harmonious and collaborative kitchen environment that complements the serenity of the waterside setting
  • Comfortable lifting up 50 lbs.
  • Standing for extended periods during shifts
  • Performing repetitive tasks, bending, lighting, and stairs
