Server

The Server defines services our customer by taking and delivering food orders.


Specific responsibilities include (but are not limited to) the following:

  • Confirms daily specials and provides detail information on ingredients as required
  • Records client’s choices and relays same to kitchen
  • Recalls orders accurately and delivers correct food items to clients
  • Graciously and unobtrusively ensures client satisfaction with meals
  • Ensures that clients know about new items on the menu
  • Recommends wine and beverage pairings with assistance of bartender
  • Recommends side dishes to compliment main courses
  • Up-sells beverages, coffees and desserts as appropriate
  • Handles all customer service concerns graciously, referring difficult issues to the Manager / Executive Chef
  • Comply with all Health & Safety policies and requirements


The ideal candidate:

  • High School Diploma
  • 2-3 years previous experience in similar capacity
  • Fully bilingual in French and English


The measures of success:

Serveur(euse)


Le(la) serveur(euse) prend les commandes des clients et sert ces derniers.

Les responsabilités spécifiques comprennent ce qui suit, sans toutefois s’y limiter :

  • Informe les clients des spéciaux du jour et fournit des détails sur les ingrédients composant les mets, si nécessaire.
  • Prend les commandes des clients et les transmet au personnel de la cuisine.
  • Se rappelle aisément les commandes des clients et sert les mets demandés.
  • S’assure de façon courtoise de la satisfaction de la clientèle quant à la nourriture.
  • S’assure d’informer les clients des nouveaux mets au menu.
  • Suggère un vin ou une boisson pour accompagner la nourriture, avec l’aide du(de la) serveur(euse) de bar.
  • Suggère des accompagnements pour le plat principal.
  • Vend des boissons, des cafés et des desserts de qualité supérieure, lorsque approprié.
  • Gère toutes les préoccupations des clients avec courtoisie et fait appel au(à la) directeur(trice) / chef de cuisine pour tout problème délicat.
  • Se conforme à toutes les politiques et exigences de santé-sécurité.


Le(la) candidat(e) idéale) possède:

  • Diplôme d’études secondaires
  • De 2 à 3 années d’expérience préalable dans un poste similaire
  • Parfaitement bilingue en français et en anglais

Hiring Range / Échelle salariale à l’embauche :

Final compensation for this position will be determined based on the candidate's unique skills, expertise, individual qualifications, and assessed contributions to the role following the completion of the interview process.
