Full-time
This is a remote position. Applicants must be based in Ontario.

Competitive hourly wage, based on experience

Annual compensation commensurate with experience and ranging from $50,000 - $60,000 CAD per year. This is a FULLY REMOTE position working a 40 hour week Monday through Friday.

About the Role

We are looking for a hands-on Digital Marketing Manager / Content Creator to take ownership of our marketing program and help generate qualified leads through digital advertising, website content, social media, photography, video, SEO, email marketing, and project showcases.

The right candidate will be comfortable visiting local project sites from time to time, capturing photos and videos, creating reels and ads, editing content, improving website visibility, and tracking campaign performance.

You will work directly with ownership/management and have the opportunity to build and manage the company’s marketing direction.

Responsibilities

Develop and manage the company’s overall marketing strategy.

Create marketing campaigns that generate qualified residential and commercial leads.

Manage Google Ads, Meta/Facebook/Instagram ads, and other digital advertising platforms.

Manage social media accounts, content calendars, posts, reels, advertisements, and project showcases.

Improve website content, SEO, and local Google visibility.

Create and update website pages, blog content, landing pages, and project portfolio content.

Capture professional photos and videos of job sites, installations, and completed projects.

Capture drone footage of job sites and completed projects.

Edit photography, video, drone footage, and short-form social media content.

Create email campaigns, brochures, advertisements, and promotional materials.

Monitor campaign performance, advertising costs, lead quality, and return on ad spend.

Prepare regular reports with recommendations for improving results.

Maintain consistent branding across the website, social media, advertising, brochures, and sales materials.

Coordinate with outside agencies, designers, photographers, developers, or vendors when required.

Qualifications

Minimum 1-3 years of digital marketing experience.

Diploma or degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field is preferred.

Experience managing Google Ads and advertising campaigns.

Knowledge of SEO, Google Analytics, Google Business Profile, and local search visibility.

Experience creating content for Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, websites, and email campaigns.

Photography, videography, and short-form video editing skills an asset.

Experience operating a drone and capturing high-quality aerial footage is strongly preferred.

Experience with Canva, Adobe Creative Cloud, or similar design/editing programs.

Experience with WordPress or another website content-management system.

Experience with Mailchimp, MailerLite, or similar email marketing platforms.

Familiarity with CRM platforms and lead tracking.

Strong writing, communication, and content-creation skills.

Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Ability to work independently, take initiative, and manage multiple projects with minimal supervision.

Portfolio or examples of previous marketing, photography, video, advertising, or social media work.

Experience marketing construction, landscaping, home improvement, architecture, luxury services, outdoor living, pools, or other high-value projects is considered an asset.

Basic HTML/CSS knowledge is considered an asset.
