Job Description:
Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Level 3 Network Support Specialist to join the HPE Networking Instant On team. This role serves as the highest level of technical customer support for the Instant On portfolio, including cloud-managed access points, switches, and gateways.
The successful candidate will act as the technical escalation point for complex customer issues, performing deep troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, issue reproduction, and validation of fixes. Working closely with Customer Support, Quality Assurance, Product Management, and Engineering teams, this individual will drive rapid resolution of critical customer issues while helping improve product quality and customer experience.
This is a hybrid role; the selected candidate will work a minimum of 3 days per week from HPE office in St. Laurent.
Key Responsibilities

Own Level 3 technical escalations for Instant On networking solutions.

Perform advanced troubleshooting of:

Cloud-managed networking platforms

Wireless access points

Ethernet switches
-
Security gateways

Mobile and web management applications

Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for customer-reported issues.

Analyze system logs, packet captures, cloud telemetry, and backend data.

Reproduce customer issues in laboratory environments.
-
Validate software fixes and confirm resolutions before release.
-
Work directly with development teams to identify software defects and prioritize corrective actions.
-
Provide technical guidance and mentoring to Level 1 and Level 2 support organizations.
-
Develop troubleshooting procedures, knowledge base articles, and technical documentation.
-
Support customer proof-of-concepts, critical escalations, and high-visibility customer engagements.
-
Leverage automation and AI-assisted tools to improve troubleshooting effectiveness and operational efficiency.
Required Qualifications
-
Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
-
7+ years of experience supporting enterprise networking products.

Strong knowledge of:
-
TCP/IP networking
-
Routing and switching
-
Wireless LAN technologies (802.11)

Network security fundamentals
-
-
Strong analytical and debugging skills.

Experience working with Linux-based systems.

Ability to analyze logs and perform deep technical investigations.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Experience interacting directly with customers and technical support organizations.
Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Aruba or HPE Networking products.

Experience troubleshooting cloud-managed networking solutions.

Familiarity with AWS cloud services.

Experience with scripting or automation technologies (Python, AI-assisted troubleshooting tools).

Spécialiste principal en support réseau
Nous sommes à la recherche d’un(e) Spécialiste principal(e) en support réseau de niveau 3 hautement qualifié(e) pour se joindre à l’équipe HPE Networking Instant On. La personne retenue agira comme point d’escalade technique pour les problèmes complexes rencontrés par les clients. Elle effectuera des activités avancées de dépannage, d’analyse des causes fondamentales, de reproduction des problèmes et de validation des correctifs. En collaboration étroite avec les équipes de soutien à la clientèle, d’assurance qualité, de gestion de produits et de développement, elle contribuera à la résolution rapide des enjeux critiques tout en améliorant la qualité des produits et l’expérience client.
Il s'agit d'un poste hybride : le candidat retenu travaillera au minimum 3 jours par semaine au bureau HPE de Saint-Laurent.
Responsabilités principales

Prendre en charge les escalades techniques de niveau 3 relatives aux solutions de réseautique Instant On.

Effectuer des activités de dépannage avancé sur :
-
Les plateformes de réseautique gérées dans le nuage;

Les points d’accès sans fil;
-
Les commutateurs Ethernet;
-
Les passerelles de sécurité;
-
Les applications de gestion Web et mobiles.

Réaliser des analyses des causes fondamentales (RCA) pour les incidents signalés par les clients.
-
Analyser les journaux système, les captures réseau, la télémétrie infonuagique et les données back-end.
-
Reproduire les problèmes signalés dans des environnements de laboratoire.
-
Valider les correctifs logiciels et confirmer leur efficacité avant leur mise en production.
-
Collaborer directement avec les équipes de développement afin d’identifier les défauts logiciels et de prioriser les mesures correctives.
-
Fournir un encadrement technique et du mentorat aux équipes de soutien de niveaux 1 et 2.
-
Élaborer des procédures de dépannage, des articles de base de connaissances et de la documentation technique.
-
Soutenir les démonstrations de faisabilité (Proof of Concept), les escalades critiques et les interactions stratégiques avec les clients.

Tirer parti des technologies d’automatisation et des outils d’intelligence artificielle pour améliorer l’efficacité du dépannage et l’efficience opérationnelle.
Qualifications requises

Baccalauréat en informatique, en génie informatique, en génie électrique ou dans un domaine connexe.

Ou toute combinaison équivalente de formation et d’expérience pertinente.

Au moins 7 années d’expérience dans le soutien de produits de réseautique destinés aux entreprises.
