How will you fit in the big picture?


As a key contributor to the Hershey Canada sales team, the CSE Convenience will be responsible for profitably growing Hershey Canada’s business to achieve the assigned objective/plan, including gross sales, net sales, profit contribution as well as share. Responsibilities include planning, developing, implementing, monitoring, and communicating the customers’ business plan. A significant part of the CSE Convenience role is managing and mentoring three direct reports with a focus on development and learning while delivering on KPI’s.


What will you do?


  • Coach and develop three direct report to ensure the delivery of business objectives
  • Manage key retail and wholesale customers with a focus on profitable growth and market share expansion
  • Develop annual Business Plans focused on listing new products, achieving permanent distribution and developing & executing a comprehensive promotional calendar
  • Analyze data and translate into an impactful selling story in support of customer & Hershey ambitions
  • Forecast sales and set targets and develop 1-3 year growth plans
  • Work cross functionally to develop and deliver high impact sales presentations
  • Manage customer promotional and merchandising strategy
  • Coordinate with marketing teams and cross functional partners to ensure new business opportunities are aligned with Hershey brand strategies

Qualifications


Experience:


  • 5+ year’s progressive sales experience in a Consumer Packaged Goods or related capacity
  • People management experience an asset

Education:


  • Bachelor’s degree required

Technical Skills:


  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint essential)
  • Competent in AC Nielsen with ability to analyze and interpret data

Abilities:


  • Effectively forecast supply requirement in a dynamic environment
  • Translate data and strategy into a selling story
  • Sound knowledge of the Canadian retail landscape
  • Sales presentation skills; Written and verbal communication skills
  • Customer relationship management skills & experience
  • Entrepreneurial spirit; Forward thinking and ability to challenge the status quo
  • Persuasive negotiation skills
  • Teamwork/Collaboration. Ability to develop strong cross-functional working relationships
  • Strategic leadership
  • Experience in a fast-paced business environment and ability to work independently are essential

The anticipated base salary range for this role is $106,000 to $132,500 annually. The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety of job‑related factors, including, but not limited to, experience, skill set, education, and training. In addition to a market-competitive base salary, our Total Rewards package includes performance‑based incentives and a comprehensive, competitive benefits package designed to support overall physical, mental, and financial well‑being (as applicable).
