Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and proactive Field Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing a variety of espresso systems and equipment at Starbucks sites. This role requires strong mechanical aptitude, technical knowledge, and excellent problem-solving skills to ensure optimal system performance and customer satisfaction. Duties

  • Install, troubleshoot, and repair equipment related to computer networking, computer hardware, and low voltage systems.
  • Perform routine maintenance to ensure systems operate efficiently and reliably.
  • Interpret schematics, technical manuals, and wiring diagrams to accurately diagnose issues.
  • Use hand tools and mechanical knowledge to perform repairs and adjustments on various equipment.
  • Conduct system testing and calibration to meet operational specifications.
  • Provide on-site technical support to clients, ensuring minimal downtime.
  • Document service activities, including repairs performed and parts used, in detailed reports.
  • Collaborate with team members to resolve complex technical problems quickly and effectively.

Requirements

  • Proven experience with computer networking, hardware installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
  • Mechanical knowledge with the ability to use hand tools effectively.
  • Familiarity with schematics and wiring diagrams for low voltage systems.
  • Strong understanding of computer hardware components and assembly.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics accurately.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on customer service.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; willingness to travel frequently to client sites.
  • Prior experience working with low voltage systems is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team in diverse environments. This position is integral to maintaining the reliability of our clients’ systems while providing exceptional service through technical expertise and professionalism.

Pay: $19.82-$35.00 per hour
