Sunset Recycles & Sales Ltd. is seeking a reliable, safety-conscious, and motivated Class 3 Roll-Off Truck Driver to join our growing team. If you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and take pride in operating equipment safely and professionally, we'd like to hear from you.

Position

Class 3 Roll-Off Truck Driver

Work Schedule

  • Monday to Friday
  • 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
  • Overtime may be available based on operational requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate a Class 3 roll-off truck to transport scrap metal bins and containers.
  • Deliver and pick up roll-off bins at customer locations throughout the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo and surrounding areas.
  • Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections and complete required documentation.
  • Ensure loads are properly secured and transported safely.
  • Communicate professionally with customers, dispatch, and yard personnel.
  • Maintain the truck in a clean and roadworthy condition.
  • Follow all company policies, Alberta traffic laws, and Occupational Health & Safety regulations.
  • Assist with general yard duties when required.

Qualifications

  • Valid Class 3 Alberta Driver's License with a clean driver's abstract.
  • Class 1 Driver's License is considered an asset.
  • Previous experience operating small equipment (forklifts, skid steers, loaders, or similar) is preferred.
  • Experience operating roll-off trucks or heavy trucks.
  • Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
  • Strong work ethic, reliability, and commitment to safety.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test, if required.
