Position Details:

  • Work ranges from transporting earth moving equipment, rail equipment, mining equipment, oilfield equipment, and all types of other heavy equipment
  • All drivers are assigned specific units - absolutely no slip seating.
  • Units are Kenworth W900, C500, T800 and W990s. A good mixture of tandem and tridem winch or hayshaker configurations.
  • Large fleet of specialized scissornecks, stepdecks, lowbeds, and wheelers. IRT is a great place to gain experience rather than hauling the same load every day.
  • We expect full participation in all company HSE programs and policies
  • Cross-border opportunities for CAN/US equipment moves in both directions
  • All jobs assigned through Dispatchers who assist with permitting, pilots, and customs as required
  • Opportunities for growth: our fleet goes as big as 92 wheels and mentorship is available for those willing to learn

Our Requirements:

  • Commitment to performance: find a pathway to yes in the pursuit of customer service
  • Minimum 3 years experience with a Class 1 License
  • Familiarity with off road driving, mountain driving, and tire chains is an asset
  • Acceptable 5 year commercial drivers abstract
  • Ability to pass pre-employment and pre-access drug and alcohol screening
  • ELD use and knowledge considered an asset
  • Valid First Aid and H2S Alive certificates considered an asset

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $36.00-$42.00 per hour
