Machine / Equipment Operator

Nikita Construction is looking for a Machine Operator for its major construction projects. Nikita Construction is part of Northland Properties and manages its construction and design activities.

Position Duties and Responsibilities:

Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of machinery.

Operate tools in order to aid in the manufacturing process.

Perform periodic checks on equipment and solve problems as detected.

Work with others in order to ensure that equipment is in proper working order.

Observe and follow company safety rules and regulations.

Required Qualifications

Experience of 2 years+
All relevant certifications for Telehandler, AWP/EWP, Working at Heights, Forklift, etc.

Knowledge of the occupational hazards and safety precautions applicable to the work.

Ability to understand and execute oral and written instructions.

Skilled in the use and care of hand and small power tools associated with the work.

Aptitude for math, problem-solving, computers, and mechanics.

Proficiency with hand tools.

Willing to perform repetitive tasks for an extended period.

Physical Requirements

Must be able to stand and/or be on their feet 10-12 hours/day

Must be able to lift 50lbs as needed

Must be able to work in outdoor weather and/or unregulated temperatures for 10-12 hours/day
