Job Overview

Join our dynamic team as a Seasonal Heavy Equipment Operator and play a vital role in executing snow removal projects with precision and efficiency. In this energetic position, you will operate a variety of heavy machinery to facilitate site clearing tasks. Your expertise will help ensure safety, quality, and timely project completion while contributing to the growth of our operational initiatives. This is an exciting opportunity for skilled operators eager to showcase their mechanical knowledge and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Operate heavy equipment such as large wheeled loaders, track loaders to perform site preparation, snow clearing activities.
Ensure all machinery is maintained properly by conducting routine inspections and reporting any mechanical issues promptly.
Assist in the setup of construction sites by moving materials -salt, snow ect.
Follow safety protocols diligently to maintain a secure work environment for yourself and your team members.
Collaborate with project managers and team members to execute tasks efficiently while adhering to project specifications and deadlines.
Utilize Caterpillar equipment and other industry-standard machinery to maximize productivity on-site.
Drive commercial vehicles as needed for transporting equipment or materials between sites.

Qualifications

Proven experience operating heavy equipment including loaders, backhoes, in a construction setting.
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot basic equipment issues independently.
Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) or equivalent certification preferred for transporting equipment or materials.
Hands-on experience with Caterpillar machinery or similar brands is highly desirable.
Knowledge of construction processes such as grading, excavation, and site preparation is essential.
Excellent safety awareness with a commitment to following all safety standards and procedures.
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions while maintaining focus on safety and quality.
