Ambipar’s Industrial Services division operates a large fleet of modern Vacuum, Combo, Hydrovac, Water, Gravel & Winch Units across Alberta, British Columbia & Saskatchewan. Our services are utilized on many different projects ranging from Downhole Drilling, Pipeline HDD, Daylighting and Civil Construction Projects.

What you’ll do as a Heavy-Duty Mechanic:

  • Lubricate, service, diagnose, repair, assemble and maintain equipment and perform other routine maintenance work
  • Ensure repairs and maintenance follow all provincial and federal transportation safety regulations and guidelines
  • Follow the safety program, including all policies, procedures and practices
  • Complete work orders upon completion of each job
  • Train operators to maintain vehicles while in the field
  • Field service calls as required to support our fleet
  • Ensure the shop is maintained and clean

What you bring to the Team:

  • 2-3 years industry experience
  • Provide your own tools for shop use
  • Registered HET Apprentice or Journeyperson in Alberta (or province transferrable) is required
  • Safe driving skills; driver’s abstract will be required
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Skilled in problem-solving techniques
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment Drug and Alcohol Test
  • CVIP License an asset but not required
  • Class 1 or 3 license an asset but not required
  • Field service experience an asset but not required
  • H2S, First Aid an asset but will supply
