Located in Kelowna, British Columbia, Multi-Power Products Ltd. is a leading Canadian manufacturer of exploratory drilling and industrial equipment, including custom-built drilling machinery. We are constantly growing and currently looking for the right person to join our team as a Journeyman Mechanic


Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Assemble exploration drilling equipment; control panels, engines, structural, power units, top drives
  • Be able to read and understand schematics (hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical)/shop drawings
  • Be able to trouble shoot, diagnose and service a wide range of hydraulic equipment
  • Adjust equipment and repair/replace bad parts, pieces or systems using hand and power tools
  • Test new equipment for proper performance and make sure that work meets specifications
  • Start up & testing

Work Environment:

  • Mostly indoors, Service/Assembly Department
  • Ability to travel internationally would be an asset

Qualifications:

  • Journeyman Mechanic and/or Hydraulic or equivalency
  • High School graduate, Grade 12
  • Good communication skills
  • Minimum class 5 driver’s license
  • Valid passport
  • Personal tools

This position is full time Monday to Friday 6:00 a.m.-2:30 p.m. This position has overtime availability and options for flexible shifts once the probationary period completes!
