Job description:

Looking for Ticketed Off-Road Heavy Duty Mechanics to join our team.

COMPENSATION:

Blended Rate: $69 per hour

+Flight Allowance

+LOA

+Vacation Pay

Accommodation Supplied.

2 weeks 2 weeks out rotation

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Follow proper Disassembly and Assembly procedures

Remove and Install components to Manufactures Specifications

Follow Proper Lifting and Rigging Practices

Troubleshoot, Diagnose, and Repair large mobile mining equipment.

Perform Preventative Maintenance inspections and Preventative Maintenance services.

Clearly write reports, cross overs and daily time detailing work performed and problems found.

Have a Positive Attitude

Have a level of professionalism, organization, safety and skills set the meets or exceeds industry standards.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Must Have Mining Equipment Experience

Interprovincial Journeyman Red Seal Heavy Duty Mechanic Certification required

2 years mining experience required

Experience with Caterpillar, Hitachi, Komatsu, John Deere heavy equipment.

Knowledge of SIS and ET and other electronic diagnostic tools

Strict safety and attendance record.

Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office products ie. Word, Excel and Outlook.

Clear written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to lift 80 pounds is required.

Willingness to work in adverse and extreme conditions.

Ability to follow direction.

Self-motivated, team player with a positive attitude and the ability to work with minimal supervision
