Join Our Maintenance Team

We are currently seeking a self driven, Mechanic to join our growing team. This is a full-time, permanent position offering a dynamic work environment, competitive compensation, and opportunities for growth and development.

Location: Huntsville, ON
Company: Muskoka Rock Company Ltd.
Shift: Monday – Friday 7am-5pm

Responsibilities:

  • Heavy Equipment repair and maintenance
  • Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial machinery and mechanical equipment (conveyors, pumps, hydraulics, pneumatics, gearboxes, etc.)
  • Perform preventive maintenance and routine inspections to ensure equipment reliability and safety
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
  • Install, align, and dismantle equipment using proper tools and methods
  • Work collaboratively with production and maintenance teams to minimize downtime
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and complete work orders in a timely manner
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2–3 years of hands-on experience in a manufacturing or heavy industrial environment
  • Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on experience in heavy equipment repair
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient with hand and power tools, as well as diagnostic equipment
  • Experience with welding and fabrication is an asset
  • Ability to work independently and in a team setting
  • Flexibility to work overtime or on-call as needed
