If you’re a hydraulic mechanic, hydraulic technician, marine mechanic, crane mechanic, elevator mechanic, or millwright with a few years of experience we want you to join Falcon Equipment! This position is based out of our Winnipeg location.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Inspecting, testing, and diagnosing hydraulic systems to identify problems.
  • Repairing and replacing hydraulic pumps, PTOs, cylinders, and hydraulic control valves.
  • Performing maintenance, repairs and testing on our customers’ various types of equipment focusing on truck-mounted cranes, snow and ice, and rail equipment
  • Performing other duties as required

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • 3 – 5 years of hydraulics experience
  • Their Red Seal Certification as a Heavy Duty Equipment Technician / Mechanic is preferred
  • OR will be in their 3rd or 4th year of their apprenticeship with related heavy equipment experience
  • OR a combination of related education and work experience
  • Previous supervisory experience is an asset
  • Solid mechanical skills with the ability to troubleshoot problems and read schematics
  • Your own tools
  • Welding and electrical experience and knowledge is a definite asset
  • The ability to work independently, and maneuver in an around heavy equipment.
  • Creative, self-starter with problem-solving skills
