Location: Saskatoon
Job Type: Full-Time, Monday-Friday, 40 hours/week, Saturday rotation

Are you passionate about helping people see the world more clearly? We’re looking for a dedicated Optician or Ophthalmic Assistant to join our friendly and professional eye care team! Whether you're dispensing lenses, assisting with frame selections, or providing expert fittings, you'll play a key role in delivering exceptional care and service.

What You’ll Do:

  • ·Greet and engage with patients to understand their needs
  • Assist patients with frame and lens selections based on prescription and lifestyle
  • Fit, adjust, and repair eyewear with precision and care
  • Educate patients on eyewear products, lens technologies, and proper care
  • Collaborate with optometrists and team members to ensure a positive patient experience
  • Close sales
  • Build strong, long-term patient relationships
  • Maintain a clean and organized dispensary and laboratory area
  • Recommend products and solutions tailored to each patient’s needs

What We’re Looking For:

  • Licensed Optician or Ophthalmic Assistant (or strong desire to pursue training)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated with a goal-oriented mindset
  • Strong attention to detail and a customer-first attitude
  • A positive attitude
  • Ability to quickly learn about products and services
