Patient Counsellor / Surgical Coordinator Laser Vision London

We are seeking an energetic, self-motivated, and relationship-driven Patient Counsellor / Surgical Coordinator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate is passionate about patient care, highly organized, and thrives in a collaborative team environment.

This individual will play two key roles within our clinic:

1. Patient Counsellor Key Responsibilities:

  • Answer patient inquiries and provide accurate information regarding our services and procedures.
  • Educate and counsel patients on:
  • LASIK
  • PRK
  • Implantable Collamer Lens (ICL)
  • Corneal Cross-Linking
  • Refractive Lens Exchange (RLE)
  • Premium Cataract Procedures
  • Conduct pre-screening consultations with patients as required.
  • Guide patients through their treatment options and help them make informed decisions.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service while maintaining professionalism, empathy, and confidentiality.

2. Surgical CoordinatorKey Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and maintain surgical charts and patient documentation.
  • Coordinate surgical bookings and appointments.
  • Respond to and follow up on patient questions and concerns in a timely manner.
  • Communicate post-operative outcomes and documentation to referring optometrists.
  • Ensure all surgical records are complete, accurate, and compliant with clinic standards.
  • Collaborate with surgeons, clinical staff, and referring healthcare professionals to support seamless patient care.

Qualifications:

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Previous experience in a healthcare, ophthalmology, optometry, surgical, or patient-facing environment is considered an asset.
