Full job description

We are growing and looking for a new addition to add to our amazing team!

We are a leading well-established dental practice located in the heart of Cambridge. We have been committed to serving our community and surrounding area for over 25 years! Our dedicated team of dental professionals are committed to providing exceptional dental care in a warm and welcoming environment.

We are seeking a full-time experienced Treatment Coordinator to join our dynamic group at Cambridge Centre Dental Care.

At Cambridge Centre Dental Care, the Treatment Coordinator is the person who turns a clinical recommendation into a confident, informed decision. You're the bridge between the operatory and the front desk — the one who sits with a patient after the dentist steps out, explains what was recommended, walks through the investment and their coverage, and makes saying "yes" to their health feel easy rather than overwhelming.

If you're the kind of person who genuinely enjoys building trust with people and gets satisfaction from seeing a hesitant patient commit to the care they need — this role was built for you.

What you'll do

  • Present treatment plans and estimates clearly and warmly, so patients understand both the "why" and the "what it costs"
  • Coordinate and verify insurance benefits, submit predeterminations, and explain coverage.
  • Build and manage financing and payment options so cost is never the reason a patient goes without care
  • Schedule complex and multi-visit treatment, keeping the clinical sequence and the patient's calendar in sync
  • Follow up on pending and unscheduled treatment — the gentle, consistent outreach that keeps care from falling through the cracks
  • Act as the patient's point of contact throughout their treatment journey, answering questions and smoothing any friction
  • Work shoulder-to-shoulder with our clinical team and front desk to keep the schedule full and the patient experience seamless

What we're looking for

  • Experience in treatment coordination
  • Working knowledge of dental terminology, treatment plans, and insurance/benefits
  • Confidence discussing fees and financial arrangements with warmth
  • Genuine people skills — you listen, you read the room, and patients trust you quickly
  • Strong organization and follow-through; nothing slips past you
  • Comfort with practice-management software and general computer literacy
  • Availability to work weekends and evenings — this is essential to the role

Why join us

  • A busy, growing, 7-day practice with a steady flow of patients and real opportunity to make an impact
  • A clinical team that respects the coordinator role as central to the practice

If you're ready to join a thriving dental practice that values your expertise, and encourages career growth, we would love to meet you!
