This role is for experienced, registered Health Care Aides providing private home care in Calgary.

Applicants must be registered on the Alberta HCA Directory (now the CLHA) and have Medication Administration certification.

Job Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Health Care Aides to provide exceptional support and care to our clients in their homes. The ideal candidate will have experience working with seniors, individuals with disabilities, or those requiring dementia or hospice care. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those in need by delivering personalized, respectful, and professional assistance.

What You’ll Do

  • Assist clients with ADLs (personal care, hygiene, dressing)
  • Support mobility and safe transfers
  • Provide medication assistance (as certified)
  • Accompany clients to appointments and outings
  • Deliver compassionate, professional one-on-one care

Requirements (Mandatory)

  • Registered with the College of LPNS and HCAS of Alberta
  • HCA certificate with Medication Administration course
  • Minimum 3 months paid caregiving experience
  • Valid Class 5 driver’s license and reliable vehicle
  • Clean criminal record
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently in a home-care setting
  • Availability for shifts (3 hour to 12 hour, 24 hour, overnights)

  • Uncertified caregivers
  • Applicants not registered on the HCA Directory
  • Those without reliable transportation
  • Individuals seeking facility-based or full-time hours

Job Type: Casual
