We are seeking motivated individuals interested in developing a career in optical sales. This position offers comprehensive on-the-job training to help you build a strong foundation in optical products and customer service. Ideal candidates are eager to learn, possess excellent communication skills, and have a passion for helping customers find the best solutions for their vision needs. No prior experience is required, as training will be provided to ensure your success in this dynamic role.

Duties

  • Greet and assist customers in selecting optical products, including glasses and contact lenses
  • Provide detailed product information and answer customer inquiries about optical options
  • Support the optical team with fitting, adjustments, and measurements for eyewear
  • Maintain a clean and organized sales floor and display areas
  • Process sales transactions accurately using retail POS systems such as Epic
  • Educate customers on lens options, frame styles, and lens coatings
  • Assist with inventory management and stock replenishment
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and deliver exceptional customer service

Qualifications

  • Strong interest in optical products, eye care, or retail sales
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new information and procedures
  • Prior experience in medical terminology, laboratory work, or retail sales is a plus but not required
  • Experience with optical or retail management systems such as Epic is advantageous
  • Previous laboratory or optical experience is preferred but not mandatory
  • Demonstrated ability to work well within a team environment
  • Customer-focused attitude with a professional appearance and demeanor

Pay: $16.00-$17.00 per hour
