We are seeking a Compassionate,motivated physiotherapy assistant to join our dynamic and growing clinic. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has experience as a PTA or currently preparing for licensure as a physiotherapist in Canada.
Key responsibilities:
Assist patients with exercise programs and activities prescribed by the treating Physiotherapist.
Help the patient with mobility assistance including lifting, moving and positioning them during their treatment.
Ensure that the patient understands and feels comfortable with the treatment they will be receiving.
Monitor patient progress and communicate closely with the Physiotherapist.
Maintain and update patient records as directed by treating Physiotherapist.
Document completed exercises by patient.
Assist Physiotherapist with heat, ice and ultrasound treatments.
Prepare equipment and treatment areas for sessions.
Sanitize equipment and maintain a clean and safe treatment area.
Inspect equipment to make sure it is in good working order.
Track inventory supplies
Assist in Administrative duties, where required
All order duties as assigned by Physiotherapist.
Requirements:
Experience working as a PTA in a clinical rehab setting.
Students or internationally trained physiotherapist preparing for licensing exams are welcome to apply.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $15.00-$21.00 per hour
