Position Overview

Augury Healthcare is seeking experienced Medical Laboratory Technologists interested in anticipated contract opportunities across Saskatchewan.

We are looking for qualified laboratory professionals who demonstrate strong technical competency, attention to detail and a commitment to accurate diagnostic testing.

Potential assignments may involve hospital laboratories and other clinical diagnostic environments, supporting essential laboratory services and patient care.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Completion of a recognized Medical Laboratory Technology program.
• Current registration with the Saskatchewan Society of Medical Laboratory Technologists (SSMLT), or eligibility for registration.
• Applicable professional certification recognized for practice in Saskatchewan.
• Minimum two years of relevant professional laboratory experience.
• Experience performing clinical laboratory testing and quality control procedures.
• Strong knowledge of laboratory equipment, specimen handling and diagnostic workflows.
• Ability to maintain accurate laboratory records and comply with quality assurance standards.
• Strong analytical, communication and organizational skills.
• Additional qualifications may be required depending on the assignment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform clinical laboratory testing and analysis of patient specimens.
• Process and analyze specimens according to established laboratory procedures.
• Validate and report accurate laboratory results.
• Operate, calibrate and maintain laboratory instruments.
• Perform quality control testing and troubleshoot equipment as required.
• Identify and report abnormal results according to laboratory protocols.
• Maintain accurate records and laboratory documentation.
• Follow biosafety, infection prevention and laboratory quality assurance standards.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to support diagnostic services.
