Mobile Medical Laboratory Assistant (Part-Time)

FloLabs is looking for an experienced Medical Laboratory Assistant to join our mobile collection team in Calgary. This is a part-time position with guaranteed weekly hours based on your availability and our operational needs.

We Are Ideally Looking For

Someone available Tuesdays and Saturdays, with shifts typically ranging from 3 to 6 hours, plus occasional vacation coverage.

We do have some flexibility for the right person, but preference will be given to candidates who can consistently support these core days. We are open to adjusting slightly where needed, especially for an otherwise strong fit.

This role also has room to grow in hours over time as the company expands.

What You'll Do

  • Travel to homes, workplaces, and clinics to perform blood collections and ECGs
  • Provide professional, compassionate care to every client
  • Ensure specimens are collected, handled, and transported accurately
  • Work independently while managing your daily schedule

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of recent phlebotomy experience
  • Recent ECG experience
  • Graduate of an accredited Medical Laboratory Assistant program (or equivalent)
  • Confident working independently
  • Strong communication and patient care skills
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Reliable vehicle
  • Clean criminal record check

Compensation

Hourly wage plus appointment premiums, designed to create a strong overall earning potential, along with mileage reimbursement.
