Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Medical Administrator/Receptionist to join our healthcare team. In this vital role, you will serve as the first point of contact for patients and visitors, ensuring a welcoming environment while managing administrative operations seamlessly. Your energetic approach will help facilitate smooth clinic workflows, coordinate appointments, and maintain accurate medical records. Duties

  • Greet patients and visitors warmly, creating a positive first impression of the practice
  • Manage multi-line phone systems to schedule appointments, answer inquiries, and direct calls efficiently
  • Verify patient information and update electronic medical records using Accuro or similar electronic health record systems
  • Prepare and organize patient charts, ensuring all documentation complies with privacy regulations
  • Schedule appointments accurately within Accuro EMR software, coordinating with clinical staff
  • Handle billing procedures and payment processing with precision
  • Maintain a clean and organized front desk area, ensuring all office supplies are stocked and equipment is functioning properly

Skills

  • Proficiency in Accuro electronic medical records system and Quickbooks software
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology for effective communication
  • Experience as a medical receptionist or in a doctor's office setting is highly preferred
  • Prior experience working in a medical office environment with administrative responsibilities
