Full job description

Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and professional Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our clients and visitors, providing exceptional customer service while managing front desk operations. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Experience in a medical or dental office is a plus.

Duties

  • Greet and assist patients in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Schedule appointments and maintain an organized calendar for the office.
  • Processing payments, direct billing insurance companies, and handling of various payment methods.
  • Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently, including maintaining client records.
  • Handle filing and clerical duties to ensure smooth office operations.
  • Provide administrative support to staff as needed
  • Utilize Microsoft Word and Excel Spreadsheets for various tasks, including document creation and spreadsheet management.
  • Assist with light bookkeeping tasks as required, including entering invoices and expenses
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the front desk area.

Qualifications

  • Previous office experience is required; experience in a medical, dental, or similar office is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Strong computer skills with the ability to learn new software quickly.
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Proven customer service skills with a friendly demeanor.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining professionalism.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
