Full job description

Join the Monarch Dentistry Team! We are looking great Team Members to join our North York location. The ideal candidates for our clinic is a multi-tasker who values playing their part for the team. We are looking for someone who provides outstanding treatment to our valued patients.

Responsibilities:

  • Answer telephone calls from patients and address them respectively and in a friendly manager when they visit the clinic.
  • Schedule patient appointments and communicate schedule openings with the dentist.
  • Register new patients in line with acceptable standards of the clinic.
  • Help patients fill out medical forms at the clinic to avoid errors and inaccurate information.
  • Explain clinical procedures and educate patients to help clarify any questions or concerns they may have.
  • Inform patients of in-house dental services offered by Monarch.
  • Ensure that all patient files and documents are kept confidential and destroyed properly.
  • Respond to all patient inquiries in a professional and timely manner, including emails and phone calls.
  • Attends and actively participates in team meetings. Contributes to the team by working with clinical and administrative teams equally.
  • Effectively manage recall system and accurately maintain patient database.
  • Optimizes the appointment schedule by ensuring the day is full, with limited gaps.
  • Manage patient calls, handling inquiries, confirmations, and appointment amendments.
  • Processes referral letters and other patient correspondence upon receipt from provider.
  • Ensure all patient billings are accurate.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Experience as a dental office administrator / treatment coordinator.
  • Experience in optimization of scheduling patient appointments
  • Experience maintaining a professional level of patient privacy
  • Flexible schedule with ability to work evenings and weekends based on business needs.
  • Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
  • Punctual and reliable
  • Excellent interpersonal skills: demonstrated ability to adapt and respond to a variety of patients
  • Experience with Dental practice management software Abeldent required.
