Dental Administrative Assistant

Location: Calgary
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

We are a modern family dental practice located in the heart of Calgary, seeking an experienced Dental Administrative Assistant to join our high-performing team. Our practice is conveniently situated near public transport, with free parking available for staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Answer phone calls in a friendly, professional manner, addressing patient inquiries
  • Manage patient relations, ensuring a positive front-desk experience
  • Collect patient information and coordinate appointment bookings efficiently
  • Assist in treatment coordination through the patient management software
  • Submit dental insurance claims and ensure timely follow-ups
  • Handle billing and payment processing, ensuring accuracy and compliance
  • Sort, organize, and manage office mail and documentation

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a dental or medical administrative role is an asset
  • Familiarity with Cleardent and Recall Max is an asset, but not mandatory
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Attention to detail with a focus on patient care and accuracy
  • Positive, professional attitude with a team-oriented and collaborative mindset
