Overview

Central Alberta Medical Imaging Service (CAMIS) is seeking a Quality Lead to support the ongoing development, maintenance, and improvement of quality, safety, accreditation, privacy, infection prevention and control, environmental services, and practice-standard processes across our medical imaging practice.

This role is well-suited to someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently while collaborating with clinical, operational, and leadership teams.

The Quality Lead will help ensure that policies, procedures, audits, documentation, training records, and follow-up processes are current, practical, and aligned with regulatory and accreditation expectations.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the development and maintenance of the quality management system, quality manual, policies, procedures, and related documentation.
• Assist with accreditation preparation, documentation review, evidence collection, site-readiness activities, and follow-up on identified deficiencies.
• Coordinate quality improvement initiatives, audits, inspections, corrective actions, and follow-up tracking.
• Support safety, risk, incident, near-miss, hazard, non-conformance, privacy, and corrective-action processes.
• Assist with infection prevention and control processes, including audit tools, training materials, hand hygiene audits, environmental services documentation and audit support, and follow-up actions.
• Track and report quality indicators, audit results, safety trends, patient feedback, inspection findings, and corrective-action completion.
• Work with managers, modality leads, clerical leads, physicians, operations, IT, and other stakeholders to support consistent quality practices across sites.
• Help ensure staff have access to current procedures, training records, and communication related to quality, safety, privacy, and infection prevention expectations.

Qualifications and Experience

• Post-secondary education in quality management, healthcare administration, regulatory compliance, business administration, occupational health and safety, or a related field.
• Experience supporting quality management systems, accreditation programs, regulatory compliance, auditing, risk management, or continuous improvement initiatives.
• Demonstrated experience developing, maintaining, and implementing policies, procedures, audit tools, reports, and documentation control processes.
• Strong understanding of quality management principles, accreditation readiness, patient safety, privacy, corrective action processes, and continuous improvement.
• Experience in a healthcare, diagnostic imaging, or other regulated environment is considered an asset.
• Training or certification in quality management, auditing, patient safety, infection prevention and control, occupational health and safety, Lean, Six Sigma, or project management is considered an asset.

Pay: $85,000.00-$105,000.00 per year
