As a Personal Support Worker, you can make a difference. In this role you are responsible for assisting clients with activities of daily living, including personal, physical, psychological, social, and recreational needs.

What we are looking for:

* Good verbal and written communication skills – English is a MUST.

* work with others in a practical, compassionate, and supportive manner.

* Respect each client as an individual and aware of his/her need for self-respect and

* privacy and the right to share in decisions about his/her care.

* Is capable of working in a team environment.

* Positive attitude, including the ability to deal with residents and families.

* Demonstrates ability to operate related equipment.

Responsibilities:

  • Personal care services including (bathing, dressing, personal hygiene, etc.
  • Meal Prep and light house cleaning as required.
  • Companionship
  • Transportation to grocery store, pharmacy or doctor’s appointments.
  • Respect client's privacy and confidentiality.

Job Type: Casual

Pay: $21.00-$23.00 per hour

Education:

  • DCS / DEC (required)

Experience:

  • Personal Support Worker: 1 year (preferred)

Language:

  • English (required)

Licence/Certification:

  • Driving Licence (preferred)
  • CPR Certification (required)
  • First Aid Certification (required)
  • Personal Support Worker Certificate (required)
  • Vulnerable Sector Police check which is within 6 months old (required)
