WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
We are currently seeking a Health and Safety Advisor to join our growing company. The Health and Safety Advisor is responsible for the administrative and operational management of occupational health and safety cases, including workplace injuries, CNESST claims, disability files, and return-to-work processes. The role ensures compliance with Québec legislation while supporting employees and managers through effective case follow-up, documentation, and coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
CNESST Case Management & Administration
· Prepare, submit, and track CNESST documentation (accident reports, claim forms, employer notices).
· Act as the primary contact with external partners, CNESST caseworkers, insurers.
· Monitor claim status, timelines, and required follow-ups to ensure compliance and accuracy.
· Support the organization during CNESST audits, requests, or inspections from an administrative perspective.
Disability & Return-to-Work Coordination
· Coordinate return-to-work and temporary assignment programs in collaboration with HR and management.
· Manage preventive withdrawal of pregnant employees cases.
· Maintain contact with injured employees and support their reintegration process.
· Monitor medical limitations and ensure appropriate accommodation is implemented.
· Track absences related to workplace injuries and illnesses.
Reporting & Documentation
· Maintain accurate and confidential occupational health and safety records.
· Track injury statistics, CNESST costs, and trends for internal reporting purposes.
· Prepare monthly and annual health and safety administrative reports.
· Ensure documentation complies with Québec legal requirements.
Training & Awareness
· Develop and deliver health and safety training (e.g., WHMIS, PPE, prevention plan, safe work procedures, Law 27)
· Lead Health and Safety Committee meetings and activities
· Promote a strong safety culture and employee engagement
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE YOU SHOULD POSSESS:
· Bachelor’s degree in industrial relations, HR, Health and Safety or any related field
· 5-7 years of experience in Health and Safety
· Solid experience managing H&S cases in a manufacturing/production environment
· Solid knowledge of OHS legislation (LSST, LATMP)
· Excellent written and verbal skills in French and English as communications outside Quebec are required
· Full proficiency in MS Office (Word; Excel; Outlook)
· Excellent organizational skills

CE QUE NOUS RECHERCHONS :
Nous sommes actuellement à la recherche d’un(e) conseiller(ère) en santé et sécurité au travail pour se joindre à notre entreprise en pleine croissance. Le ou la conseiller(ère) en SST est responsable de la gestion administrative et opérationnelle des dossiers SST, incluant les accidents de travail, les réclamations à la CNESST, les dossiers d’invalidité et les processus de retour au travail. Le titulaire du poste veille au respect de la législation québécoise en matière de santé et sécurité, tout en soutenant les employés et les gestionnaires grâce à un suivi rigoureux des dossiers, une documentation adéquate et une coordination efficace avec les parties prenantes internes et externes.
VOS RESPONSABILITÉS :
Gestion et administration des dossiers CNESST
· Préparer, soumettre et assurer le suivi de la documentation liée à la CNESST (rapports d’accident, formulaires de réclamation, avis à l’employeur).
· Agir à titre de personne-ressource principale auprès de nos partenaires externes,des agents de la CNESST, des assureurs.
· Assurer le suivi des dossiers : statuts des réclamations, échéanciers, demandes d’information et actions requises afin d’assurer la conformité et l’exactitude des dossiers.
· Soutenir l’organisation lors d’audits, de demandes d’information ou d’inspections de la CNESST, sur le plan administratif.
Gestion de l’invalidité et coordination des retours au travail
· Coordonner les programmes de retour au travail et d’assignation temporaire en collaboration avec les ressources humaines et les gestionnaires.
· Gérer les retraits préventifs des travailleuses enceintes.
· Maintenir un contact régulier avec les employés accidentés et les accompagner dans leur processus de réintégration.
· Assurer le suivi des limitations fonctionnelles et veiller à la mise en place de mesures d’accommodement appropriées.
· Effectuer le suivi des absences liées aux blessures et maladies professionnelles.
Rapports et documentation
· Maintenir des dossiers de santé et sécurité au travail exacts, complets et confidentiels.
· Compiler et analyser les statistiques d’accidents, les coûts liés à la CNESST et les tendances, à des fins de suivi interne
· Préparer des rapports administratifs mensuels et annuels en santé et sécurité.
· S’assurer que toute la documentation est conforme aux exigences légales du Québec.
Formation et sensibilisation
· Développer et offrir des formations en santé et sécurité (ex. SIMDUT, EPI, plans de prévention, méthodes de travail sécuritaires, loi 27).
· Présider les activités du comité de santé et de sécurité.
· Promouvoir une culture de prévention, de sécurité et d’engagement des employés.
VOS COMPÉTENCES :
· Baccalauréat en relations industrielles, en ressources humaines, en santé et sécurité au travail ou dans un domaine connexe
· Minimum de 5 à 7 ans d’expérience en santé et sécurité au travail
· Expérience solide en gestion de dossiers SST dans un environnement de fabrication / production
· Excellente connaissance de la législation québécoise en santé et sécurité du travail (LSST, LATMP)
· Excellentes compétences en communication écrite et orale en français et en anglais, requises en raison de communications à l’extérieur du Québec
· Maîtrise complète de la suite Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
· Excellentes compétences organisationnelles
