Cardio study is interested in hiring individuals to undertake medical lab assistant tasks.

Job Description & Requirements

The selected candidate will handle clerical duties which may be assigned in accordance with the office procedures of our establishment. Candidates must have the ability to type average 60-65 wpm, detail oriented and focus. Organizational skills are also necessary for managing large amounts of detailed information and should be capable in working both independently and in a team setting. Adaptability and resourcefulness are key qualities in regards to changes in office technology and the evolving responsibilities of a support administrator.

Duties and Responsibilities

Employees may perform any or all of the following duties but not limited to:

  • use health software and other computer applications, prepare reports, letters, case histories and medical records
  • answer the phone, receive and communicate messages
  • set up and maintain records management system. This includes classifying and coding electronic and hard copy files
  • operate office equipment. This includes voicemail messaging systems, photocopiers, fax machines and document scanners
  • receive and communicate messages for medical staff and patients
  • decide and establish office procedures and routines
