Kemptville District Hospital is seeking a Health Information Management Professional (HIMP) to join our growing team, on a part-time basis.

Qualifications

• Health Information Professional Diploma or equivalent; Health Record Administrator or Health Record Technician Diploma from an accredited college;
• Two years experience as a Health Information Professional;
• Current registration with Canadian Health Information Management Association (CHIMA);
• Working knowledge of privacy legislation;
• NACRS and DAD coding experience;
• Experience with an EMR Coding Software (an asset);
• Computer literacy and competency;
• Commitment to continuing education;
• Office and filing skills;
• Excellent interpersonal skills.

Starting Wage:

$31.34/hr
