Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Dental Receptionist to join our vibrant dental team! Responsibilities

  • Greet patients warmly and professionally, creating a welcoming atmosphere for all visitors
  • Schedule appointments accurately using ClearDent dental practice management software
  • Verify insurance coverage and benefits, including Medicare and Medicaid, ensuring proper documentation for billing purposes
  • Manage multi-line phone systems with excellent phone etiquette, addressing patient inquiries promptly
  • Assist with dental billing and collection processes
  • Support administrative tasks such as filing medical records, managing office supplies, and handling correspondence efficiently
  • Collaborate with clinical staff to facilitate smooth intake processes and ensure accurate documentation of care plans
  • Utilize computer skills to operate office equipment and manage data entry with high accuracy and speed

Qualifications

  • Prior experience in a dental
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle sensitive information discreetly under HIPAA guidelines
  • Bilingual abilities are desirable to serve diverse patient populations effectively
  • Demonstrated clerical experience including filing, data entry, and managing multi-line phone systems
  • Ability to perform medical administrative support tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a busy environment
  • Knowledge of insurance verification processes
  • Competency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) for documentation and communication purposes
