Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Property Manager to oversee the management of our residential properties. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of property management practices, and the ability to foster positive relationships with tenants, contractors and staff. This role requires a proactive approach to property maintenance, tenant relations, and operational efficiency.
Duties
- Manage day-to-day operations of multiple properties, ensuring they are well-maintained and compliant with all regulations.
- Develop and implement property management strategies to enhance occupancy rates and tenant satisfaction.
- Utilize computer software program Sage 300 for accounting of rental business and also ability to train and mentor staff using this program as well.
- Oversee lease negotiations, renewals, and terminations while ensuring compliance with legal requirements.
- Collaborate with maintenance staff to coordinate repairs and preventive maintenance.
- Managing suite turns with site manager to help maintain properties.
- Conduct regular property inspections to ensure adherence to safety standards and quality control.
- Maintain accurate administrative records, including tenant files, lease agreements, and maintenance logs.
- Foster strong relationships with tenants through exceptional customer service and effective communication.
Experience
- Proven experience in property management or a related field is essential.
- Familiarity with property management software is highly desirable.
- Strong sales skills with the ability to negotiate effectively on behalf of the company.
- Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail in administrative tasks.
- Ability to provide outstanding customer service while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience working with office administration tasks related to property management is a plus.
