About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Temporary Health & Safety Administrator to support our Health & Safety program requirements over a 6-month term.
This role is primarily responsible for coordinating, maintaining, and administrating safety programs, documentation, and compliance activities, while also providing general administrative support to ensure smooth day-to-day operations of the business.

Key Responsibilities
Health & Safety Administration
- Review, maintain and manage health and safety records, including training logs, certifications, incident reports, and audits
- Track and monitor compliance with safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
- Coordinate and schedule internal and external safety training
- Support incident and near-miss reporting processes, including documentation and file management
- Maintain and update safety documentation within platforms such as ISNetworld, Avetta, or similar systems
- Assist in preparing for internal and external safety audits
- Ensure all safety manuals, procedures, and documents are current and properly distributed
- Compile safety data and prepare reports for leadership review
Office & Administrative Support
- Maintain accurate and organized filing systems (digital and physical)
- Provide general administrative support to the broader organization. Examples include replenishment of day to day office consumables, coordinating facility services, answering the main phone line and welcoming visitors.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and correspondence
- Assist with onboarding processes, including safety orientations and documentation

Qualifications
- High School Diploma required; post-secondary education in Occupational Health & Safety, Business Administration, or related field is an asset
- 2–5 years of experience in an administrative or health & safety support role
- Experience with safety documentation systems or compliance platforms is an asset
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
