Hopewell currently has an opening for a full-time Analyst, National Portfolio Management.

Job Summary:

The Analyst, National Portfolio Management, will provide analytical, operational, and administrative support in the management of client real estate portfolios. The successful candidate will work closely with the Portfolio Managers, Property Manager, leasing, and accounting teams to provide support on ad-hoc projects, assist with strategic asset management initiatives, and help optimize the performance of each property in the portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the Director and clients to evaluate clients’ real estate asset objectives.
  • Build and maintain professional relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
  • Work closely with Portfolio Management teams to ensure that the building is operating at peak performance levels.
  • Assist in the acquisition/disposition process, including facilitating new property set up or dispositions as required.
  • Prepare, analyze and interpret financial statements, leases, agreements and related documents.
  • Assist with factual correctness of all aspects of client reporting including, but not limited to, monthly and quarterly reports, tracking NOI monthly in comparison to budget, leasing activity, capital projects and operational updates.
  • Manage the property tax process by coordinating with tax consultants, tracking timelines and deliverables and assisting with tax appeals and recommendations to the Portfolio Manager.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, real estate, finance or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in asset management or related field in real estate.
  • Demonstrate a keen interest in the real estate industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Yardi, or similar property management software.
  • Highly motivated with strong adaptive problem-solving skills and business acumen.
  • Keen sense of attention to detail with the ability to learn tasks quickly.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Ability to work under time-sensitive deadlines, manage conflicting priorities and deliver under pressure.
  • Proactive, entrepreneurial approach to your work is essential to success in this role. You must have a strong work ethic and demonstrate a high level of motivation, a self-starting attitude and have the ability to lead, develop and inspire others around you to perform at their best.

Reporting:

This position will report directly to the Senior Manager of Portfolio Management.

Working Conditions:

Traditional core office hours are Monday to Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm with 1 optional work-from-home day. Work may require occasional weekends and/or evenings.
