Full job description

Morris River Farms Ltd. is seeking an experienced Farmer / Farm Machinery Operator to join our grain and oilseed farming operation in Rosenort, Manitoba.

Job Details:

  • Full-time, Term Position
  • $29.45/hour, 45 hours/week
  • Start: July 2026
  • Schedule includes early mornings, evenings, weekends, and seasonal hours as required
  • On-site rural work environment

Responsibilities:

  • Operate tractors, harvesters, trucks, and farm equipment
  • Seed, cultivate, spray, harvest, and transport grain and oilseed crops
  • Perform general farm duties and field operations
  • Maintain farm machinery, equipment, buildings, and work areas
  • Complete routine equipment maintenance and minor repairs
  • Follow farm safety procedures

Requirements:

  • 3–5 years of grain farming and/or farm machinery operation experience
  • Valid driver’s license required
  • Must have own transportation
  • English required; Low German considered an asset
  • Ability to work outdoors in dusty, noisy, hot, and physically demanding conditions
  • Reliable, organized, flexible, and team-oriented
