Full job description
We are an environmental remediation company specializing in Hydrocarbon spill cleanups at residential and commercial properties. We also provide demolition, disposal, and asbestos remediation services. We are looking for dedicated individuals to join our existing team. Work is generally performed in the southern and Northern Ontario (Within 400 km radius of Brantford Ontario as the reporting Office when necessary)
Responsibilities are:
- Operate and maintain various types of equipment, including but not limited to skid steers, and excavators
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on equipment
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines while operating machinery
- Perform a variety of tasks dependent on the cleanup requirements.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively
Requirements:
- Mechanical knowledge and aptitude to operate and troubleshoot equipment
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals and blueprints
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members and supervisors
- Operate and maintain equipment in a safe and efficient manner
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on equipment
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working
- Previous experience operating equipment, preferably in a construction or industrial setting
- Strong mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting skills
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects as required
