We have an exciting opportunity for a Logistics Coordinator to join our growing logistics team in Milton Ontario.

This will be a challenging and rewarding position for the successful candidate and we look forward to reviewing all qualified applicants.

Compensation: $55,000-$65,000 depending on experience, plus monthly commissions

Shift: Mon-Fri 07:30am-4:30pm or 8:30am - 5:30pm, occasional weekends

The focus of this role is brokering and coordinating of loads however duties will include but not limited to:

· Source and qualify carriers

· Handle customer inquires

· Obtain and negotiate competitive rates

· Enter and dispatching loads, choosing the right truck & instructing Carriers

· Prepare all necessary documents involved in transporting cargo

· Track & Trace loads through to destination

· Liaise with head office regarding billing or any possible claims

· Ability to provide after-hours and weekend support on a rotational basis as necessary

· Form mutually beneficial carrier/broker relationships

· Manage the approval of your shipments to accounting on time, with supporting documentation

· Administrative duties as required

Specific job functions will include but not limited to:

· Possess the ability to work in a fast-paced environment

· The ability to make successful business relationships

· Exceptional negotiation skills

· A positive customer first attitude

· A strong knowledge of North American geography

· Team player with the ability to provide administrative, sales & management support when necessary

· After-Hours track and trace required

Therefore, for the role of Fright Broker-Dispatcher we require an exceptional individual focused on client first service, quality partner carriers and freight leadership with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Successful applicants must have a solid understanding of the transportation industry, minimum of 3 years Freight Broker, Dispatch or Logistics Coordinator experience, a professional approach and be proficient in MS Office.
