Job Location: Melville Gardens

Description: Casual

Job Responsibilities:

  • Clean and sanitize resident rooms, hallways, and common areas following established protocols.
  • Dust, mop, vacuum, and polish surfaces to maintain cleanliness.
  • Empty trash receptacles and handle waste disposal appropriately.
  • Perform deep cleaning and disinfection as required.
  • Respect residents' privacy and maintain professionalism in all interactions.
  • Adhere to policies ensuring resident confidentiality at all times.
  • Manage sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 25 lbs.
  • Capability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1-year experience
  • Ability to work a schedule of flexible hours/ shifts inclusive of days, weekends and holidays
  • High School/ GED completion
  • Previous experience working with seniors would be an asset
