Job Overview:
We are seeking a talented and passionate Hair Stylist to join our team. As a Hair Stylist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional hair services to our clients, ensuring their satisfaction and maintaining a high level of professionalism. If you have a passion for hair styling and enjoy creating beautiful looks, we would love to hear from you. We are located downtown Kingston at the premier waterfront location in the historic 19th century building Woolen Mill. Our hair salon have big windows with lots of natural light and overlooking stunning waterfront of Rideau Canal. This becomes part of the charm and ambience of the salon. Whether you've been in the industry from some time and are looking for a new environment, or if you're relatively new, we're looking to meet with you. Duties:
- Perform a variety of hair services including cutting, coloring, and styling
- Sanitate tools and workstations to maintain a clean and safe environment
- Provide excellent customer service by actively listening to clients' needs and preferences
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their desired look and offer professional advice
- Upsell salon products and services to enhance the client experience
- Assist with front desk duties such as scheduling appointments and handling payments

Qualifications:
- Valid Ontario hairstylist license required
- Proven experience as a Hair Stylist or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of hair styling techniques, trends, and products
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients
- Retail sales experience is a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
