Lead HVAC Installer

Affordable Comfort is growing, and we’re looking for an experienced Lead HVAC Installer to join our team. This is an opportunity for a seasoned professional who takes pride in delivering exceptional installations, leading by example, and mentoring the next generation of technicians.

As a Lead Installer, you will oversee residential HVAC installations, ensure the highest standards of workmanship, support apprentice development, and help drive operational excellence in the field.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead residential HVAC installation projects from start to finish
  • Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to company quality standards
  • Mentor and train junior installers and apprentices
  • Communicate professionally with homeowners and provide an exceptional customer experience
  • Troubleshoot installation challenges and make sound field decisions
  • Complete all required documentation accurately and on time
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment
  • Collaborate with the Install Manager and leadership team to continuously improve processes

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of residential HVAC installation experience
  • Proven experience leading installation crews or acting as a lead installer
  • Valid G2 Gas Technician Licence (G1 considered an asset)
  • 313D (an asset)
  • Valid driver’s licence with a clean driving record
  • Strong knowledge of residential HVAC systems, installation best practices, and local codes
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
  • Commitment to quality workmanship and customer satisfaction
