Job Summary
Buzz 'A' Beat piano studio is a premium early childhood music school offering creative piano based programs for babies, toddlers and young children (ages 0-8)

We are currently seeking an energetic, highly musical and experienced LEAD EARLY CHILDHOOD PIANO TEACHER to join our growing team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Teach engaging piano-centered music classes for babies, toddlers and young children in group settings (up to 10 students)
  • Lead interactive baby music classes including movement, singing, rhythm activities and sensory musical experiences
  • Accompany children's songs through improvisation and chordal playing at the piano
  • Perform short live musical pieces during classes to inspire listening and musical imagination
  • Teach beginner piano skills following the studio's structured teaching method as children grow older
  • Maintain a warm, positive and nurturing classroom environment.
  • Demonstrate strong classroom leadership and the ability to manage group energy effectively
  • Communicate professionally with parents and contribute to a high-quality learning experience

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years experience teaching piano to young children OR working in an early childhood music program
  • Strong piano performance skills and confident sight-reading ability
  • Ability to improvise and harmonize children's songs using chords
  • Familiarity with common children's repertoire and early music education approaches
  • Experience teaching group classes for babies or preschool-aged children is highly preferred
  • High level of positive energy, creativity and emotional connection with children
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills

Pay: $35.00-$42.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 20 per week
